It took 30 minutes to put together. The enclosed instructions were intimidating. Don't be scared. It was REALLY easy. Very smooth, sturdy and whisper quiet. I rode it for 10 minutes on level 2 to test it out (out of 8) and worked up a sweat. I am looking forward to using it. I live in a tiny San Francisco apartment and it fold up to take up very little space. Yaaay! I'm 5'1" and have no problems reaching the pedals comfortably.
