I’m a veteran hairstylist and overwhelmingly particular about hair accessories. Traditional hair ties are damaging to hair and frankly, give me a headache from being too tight. Most cloth hair ties lack elasticity to hold a pony tail tight enough to not fall out over the course of normal activity. I was concerned because it states it will hold tight for thick hair, so I expected it to be somewhat loose for my sad, thin hair (to give reference, I can tie itty bitty rubber bands around the entirety of my hair twice). I wrap it around three times and it holds snugly but still has comfortable give. Heavy workout - hair stayed tied. And best part is they maintain their elasticity well. So much better than any fabric hair tie I’ve used. Incredible value. I’m tempted to buy more as backup, just in case I cannot find them again in the future.
