I'm 5 days into a 3 week sentence of non-weight bearing with crutches post foot tendon repair. Hands have bruises and getting blisters under my arms from the crutches chafing, and that's with not even leaving the house in that time yet. Received these today and they are already an immense relief. They are thick enough to cushion hands and underarms to make the crutches comfortable the underarm section has velcro straps to keep from sliding off. I was able to drop the height an inch, as the cushion raised the height of the crutch. If you have extra small hands, the hand grip may make it hard to hold the handle securely, but so far this has been the only relief to my post-op recovery. Edit: I used these pads over 10 weeks with my crutches until I could use just a walking boot. Massive relief, and I wouldn't have survived the surgery without them. I recommend them to anyone who needs to use crutches. They were still very full in comfort and never flattened or wore down. 10/10.
