**please read pros AND cons** I purchased this to go over my 8ft summer waves pool when it's in use, to protect us from bugs, leaves, & the sun, while still allowing air flow. I've had this tent since mid August, so I feel like I can accurately assess it now. Cons: • First, let me start off by saying that the tent is NOT 10ft wide. At best, it's 8 ft. After stretching it over my 8ft pool, there was literally no room left. And yes, my pool is exactly 8ft cause it sits on a 8 ft wide foam mat platform. This is the only reason I took off 1 star. • I would not recommend trying to fold the tent back to the original small circle unless you absolutely need to. The pop-up force from the original small circle is VERY forceful and could injure you if you're not careful, plus, it takes added elbow grease to get it back to that size. I stop at the big circle (about 3' diameter, pictured) before the small one. Take zero elbow grease, and has no forcefulness when unfolding from that point. Thankfully, Alvantor includesa case for the small circle,and a case for the big circle. • The screen room is NOT rain proof. I knew this going in, but this is for someone who doesn't. The center roof of the tent is not dome shape, it sinks inwards. So if it rains, that area will most definitely hold water, and probably destroy your screen room. Pros: Aside from the sizing issue, this pop-up tent is VERY well made and extremely easy to put up and take down. It literally takes me 1 min to get it up, and 1 min to take it down! I've put it up & taken it down at least 10+ times now, and still no problems! I also appreciate the fact it comes with anchors & bags to put sand in. Due to the size discrepancy, I don't need them since the tent hugs my pool, allowing it to stay in place! Bottom line: Yes, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an ** 8 FOOT ** quality, no-hassle, screen room! I honestly love this thing!
