Now one of my go-to bars
I purchased five brands of keto bars, primarily for breakfast, as well as the occasional meal replacement. I found the IQ bars to have a very good taste, with a chewy texture that I like. 10 grams of fat, 4g of net carbs and 11g of protein. 170 calories, so two will be a bit under the 400 calories that some people target for meal replacement. If you want to try them out, this variety pack gives you a good overview of their product, though I also bought another variety pack of different flavors as well. I am a chocolate lover, and I wouldn't say these bars are particularly "chocolaty." They seemed closer to having a nutty flavor, which I liked. I generally eat this at home, but I have carried them around occasionally. I find they tolerate being put in a pocket, and don't break up in the way that some "crunchy" keto bars do. Of the five bars I tried, this is one of the two that now have a regular place on my food shelf. One note on their sweetness: the bars use allulose, a naturally occurring sweetener that is largely indigestible. (Stevia also adds sweetness.) The indigestibility means that it will be treated by the body as low calorie and low glycemic. However, some people may get digestive discomfort. I don't, but it's something to watch out for. (Sugar alcohols have the same issue, though they affect a wider variety of people.)
