I have been reading all the negative comments about this product, and I just want to say stop whining! This product is one of the best OTC (Over the Counter) Retinol products available! Yes, it stings, it burns, it makes you peel - but that is what it is all about, skin cell regeneration, stops the breakdown of skin collagen after sun exposure, improves the top layer of the epidermis to improve the appearance of crepey skin. Yes, ugly crepey skin - you will eventually get there in your 50's/60's. Anyway, get over the peeling, redness, etc. - that is how it works! My secret is after you have applied wait a little bit (half an hour or so) and then apply CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. Make sure it is a formulation that does not include Retinol, but one that includes Hyaluronic Acid is fine. Apply as often as you want after, it won't hurt. Anyway, this will minimize the retinol downside and still let your epidermis do what it needs to when using a Retinol Product. I will be 59 in January - no crows feet, minimal wrinkles.... And always moisturize before you go to sleep :-)
