So far a great router and worth what I am experiencing
I am a network engineer and a router power user. My home network is slightly complicated. I run 6 Dropcams, 3 Nest Protects, 2, Piper Cams, 3 Amazon Echos, 1 Wink Hub, a small PC server running a live weather station, an Xbox One, 3 Apple Tv's, 1 Amazon Firestick, 2 Ipads, 2 Iphones, and a Macbook Air. Most stuff is always on, but not everything is running at the same time.
The OnHub suggests is takes away all the complications making all this stuff work and increases Wifi strength.
My prior setup was a Apple Extreme in my home office which is on the top floor farthest northern room of my house. To reach an outside mounted Dropcam which is on my shed and is 20 feet away from the house on the farthest southern side of the house, I needed a Apple Express as a wifi extender.
I setup the OnHub, got everything online, set a few static Ip's on it, setup 1 port forward, and started my bandwidth test. All the connections seem stable. No hiccups that I can see. Just the Onhub and no wifi extender, the Dropcam on the shed is working with plenty of signal, so the range of this thing is certainly what they are boasting about.
I mounted this on a wall and fed the wires inside, so it's a clean look. Photo added. So far a great router and worth what I am experiencing.
Don't buy it on Amazon because they are trying to price gouge you. There are plenty of places that are selling it for the price it really is, $199.00. I got mine from Walmart and received it in 2 days at the normal price. They had plenty in stock.
