I ordered this set Friday 7/28 in the evening and received Monday 8/1 in the morning by UPS which I prefer to USPS. I wasn't expecting it for 2 more days at the earliest so I was pleasantly surprised.So the reviews where you see people complaining about the screws not lining up....they should have their man card revoked. The way to avoid the misalignment issue is get all of the screws started THEN tighten them. It took me only an hour in the 90 degree sun to put this set together by myself with no problems and I'm a GIRL. I didn't use a socket wrench...just the allen wrench that came with EACH packet of screws/washers. Nice touch by the way since then you could have four people each assemble a piece to be done in 15 minutes. For those people who commented that it was smaller than expected...read the dimensions marked in the description and take some masking tape and tape out the dimentions. This set is designed for smaller spaces and therefore smaller scale. I am 5'6", my son is 6'2" and my friend is 6'7" and they all fit. Its actually pretty comfortable. If you are LARGE and HEAVY this might not be the best choice. But if you are average size and don't plan on having this as your primary living furniture it's perfect. The directions were easy to understand and WAY easier than Ikea. Girls, you should have no problems because you will read the instructions. Guys you're not going to read them anyway, so there's that. The cushions are about 1" to 1.25" thick but look at the price! If you want thicker more durable cushions, splurge on a set. I bought some silicone spray from an army surplus store nearby to make the cushions water resistant. Cushions are foam and fabric...therefore by virtue of their composition they are a sponge. Don't complain when a sponge acts like a sponge. I was very pleased that all the pieces arrived in perfect condition and I thought whoever thought to hang the bag of instructions and hardware by a ribbon in the box to make it easy to find is brilliant. Give 'em a raise!
