Absolutely obsessed with this water fountain. My two cats love it and often just catch them sitting and staring at the trickling water. My one cat was able to bat around her tiny water dish and always dumped it. She's no longer able to do that with this fountain! She hasn't even tried to knock it over and drinks from it often. It's not noisy and all you hear is the water trickling off the top tier which is very soothing and peaceful. I usually refill the fountain every 36 hrs just to make sure the motor doesn't burn out. If fountain gets empty, you can hear the motor and you make think something is wrong. Just add water and you're good to go. I clean mine once per week and takes less than 5 minutes to do. Very easy to disassemble. Extremely happy with my purchase and would buy again. Update: 8 months after purchasing the motor friend and I have to buy a replacement motor for $16.50. Updating my rating to 4 stars b/c this fountain didn't even make it 1 year before the motor ran out.
