I was quite nervous about this mattress. The price, the box... it was intimidating that I'd get anything good out of this purchase. Glad I took the chance. It was a lot of fun getting it out the box, cutting open the plastic that was keeping it compressed and watching it just unravel like it did. I even videotape myself doing it although I won't upload it because well, let's just say I was making weird noises trying to get the heavy mattress out the box. Lol Anyways, it was pretty comfortable and firm. If you like super soft pillow like bed this wouldn't be your cup of tea. The springs are there and slightly noticeable when you lay on it but not in a stabbing way. Nothing is wrong with this mattress plus it was a great price. I give it a 100% from what I expected... it definitely made me a believer that a mattress can be rolled up in a narrow box and still be worth bragging about. =)
