To begin, the unit seems to be pretty good quality - the T is metal, and the hose is braided. The mounting system works well, and the thing that I really like is that it is thin where it mounts onto the back of the bowl, so it does not raise up the seat but a hair (0.2"). It is not noticeable at all. The big drawback of this particular unit is that it does not have a separate pressure control. Many of the others do have this feature. If you have good water pressure (mine is about 60 lbs), you may find it sprays pretty hard with barely any turn of the control knob. I'm going to add an in-line valve to lower the pressure. The other things that a lot of the competition have is an adjustable angle on the sprayer and a cleaning mode, both of which this bidet lacks. Overall, this is a decent basic unit, but if I had it to do again, I would look for a unit that has all these features: 1) Slim design so that the seat is not raised much 2) Separate control for water pressure 3) Adjustable spray angle 4) Self-cleaning ability
