Took about 10 minutes to install. The rain barrel did not have a spigot (missing) so I bought a 3/4 inch at a local hardware store (figured it was faster than waiting for a replacement). I placed a hanging basket on top - recommended instead of just planting flowers in dirt - and it works fine. I've been watering my plants for over a week and have plenty of water still in barrel.
