Dishwasher safe: We've had some sets from other companies, which picked up rust in the dishwasher. Not these. Durable: The magnetic buttons which allow them to connect are powerful and well affixed. They don't pop out and the spoons to not separate by accident. Sturdy: I would not use these to scoop cold peanut butter, but I don't believe that was their intention. They work exceedingly well for their designed purpose: Measuring dry or liquid ingredients. I would happily buy these as a gift for someone whom I love.
