We live in South Florida and we like to sleep with the temp at 70 or below so we bought this unit for our master bedroom. It cools the room quickly as the room is 14 by 18. The unit is constructed well and I think it is a better design than the LG I already have that I use in my garage. The drain location makes better sense, the window seal plate is sturdier, and more robust overall. My only complaint is that my windows in the room are only 25 inches wide and I had to trim the seal plate pieces to make it work. In other words the seal plate width is greater than my window so had to make it shorter to fit.
