I have a long-haired Ginger with an attitude, so grooming is never an easy job. And when I say attitude, he's given me a concussion and keeps the liquid bandages flowing. It has been suggested I rename him "Homeless." And while I have to use more serious equipment when he gets a matted section, this little thing is the first brush he's not only tolerated, but has yet to draw blood as I use it. So two thumbs up to prevent shedding. And despite his unruly attitude, I'm not renaming him Homeless. The brush is a soft, flexible rubber/plastic. And if this little jerk will tolerate it, I'm sure a normal cat will love it.
