Since most if not all the reviews for this product received it free, through the Vine Voice program, I thought I would add my review, since I actually paid for the thing. I bought this heater because our old one bit the dust. My son likes to have a little warm air in the mornings when he eats his breakfast before school (we keep our house cool at night during the winter, and it takes time to warm up.) I've been using it as a room heater during cold snaps this fall, instead of cranking up the furnace. Right now it is in my office, and I am quite comfortable. It has an internal sort of thermostat, so if you set it lower than full blast, it will cycle on and off, keeping the room as warm as you like. It's a nice size, light, and sharp looking. There's no way anyone could hurt themselves with it without a long metal implement and a bit of a death wish. The unit stays cool when operating and it has an ingenious button on the bottom which, if not in contact with the floor or the surface of something, will stop the unit from operating. In other words, if it tips over, it turns off. I like it a lot. It keeps our tv room nice and cozy and we don't have to heat all the bedrooms and kitchen and office.
