After much research I decided to go with this Multiplus (12/3000/120-50). Victron has been around for some time now and have a very good reputation as a leader in the industry. It has every bell and whistle imaginable. All Victron products are easily linked together with a regular Ethernet cable so they can all communicate and if you buy a remote display(Color control gx) all the information is shown on a very cool and easy to use screen. I installed two of these in my RV that has a 50 amp service. I set them up one on each phase and set it to run in split phase mode. They install between your automatic transfer switch and your main breaker panel on an RV. That way both the grid and the generator are able to feed power to them. I absolutely love my system, there are more features to list so I would advise you do what I did and read up on their products on their website. They have tons of information on their website. There literally isn't anything that I couldn't do with this unit. Once properly set up you really don't have to touch anything. It can even be programmed to start the generator when your preset generator on parameters are met and shut back off when the off parameters are met. As for the other review of it being noisy. It does have a fan that runs when it is under a heavy load but I do not have any other noise coming from mine. I plan on buying another one soon to install in my work trailer.
