I bought meal prep containers from Amazon that are about 10"L x 8"W and needed a bag wide enough to fit two stacked on each other plus room for at least 2 water bottles. This bag is perfect and fits everything I need plus has room for more. Like others have said it is sturdy and nice looking in person. I've bought a waxed canvas bag from the same company in the past and thought it to be well made, so I had good expectations. I use it to transport my lunch to work and it goes straight to the fridge once I get there, so I don't have first hand experience of long term insulation. Overall its a great bag if you like to take lots of food with you. I recommend it.
