I’m so glad i took the chance and bought this swimsuit online. I’ve never done that before and it worked out swimmingly (haha). To help out other ladies who can’t decide between sizes, I went with the medium. I’m 5’5” and 150 lbs, with smallish breasts (34b). I have a belly and am not comfortable showing it in a regular suit. The ruffles pleasantly keep it loose around the belly. The only thing that would make this better is if there was a nice tight underlayer with the ruffles sewn on this loose top. I can see the top (very loose) coming up and my belly hanging out if i jumped into a pool, so only diving or holding the top down while slowly entering will do. I will be going to a resort next week, I’ll be sure to update with a performance review after i use it for swimming. Update: i wore this suit to an indoor water park and I’m so happy with it! The extra special feature that no one mentioned is the straps! I’m smaller up top and straps ALWAYS fall down my shoulders. I noticed the straps in the back are removeable. They were falling down even after tightening a lot, so i switched the left and right sides and voila! Perfect. It will float up on you since there isn’t anything under the ruffles, but i didn’t find that to be a problem. I never felt self conscious at all.
