I don't write reviews very often. In fact, this might be my first Amazon review. (I don't recall doing another but I'm too lazy to confirm.) I felt it necessary to write this, though, because these two little satchels of wizardry work incredibly well. I own two different pairs of Columbia PFG boat shoes. Originally I bought just one to wear while boating and fishing. I quickly discovered them to be one of the most comfortable and versatile pairs of shoes out there, but they were getting wet and muddy and nasty, and the smell coming off of them after a day on the water was horrible. So bad, in fact, that I ended up buying another pair to wear out and about when NOT boating -- I sure as heck couldn't go to a restaurant with Fukushima brewing between my toes. My new, non-boating pair of boat shoes were welcome in the house, but the boating pair of boat shoes were relegated to the garage. As an arachnophobe, this freaked me the hell out; the shoes were filled with little baby spiders, and I sure didn't want to mess with the kind of mutant creature could survive the choking aroma of wet boat feet radiating out of those shoes. So, I bought my first set of NonScents about two months ago. My expectations were meh. They worked incredibly well. So well, in fact, that I just purchased my second pair of NonScents because the non-boating pair of boat shoes started to stink a bit thanks to sockless wear during the hot South Carolina summer. And they worked well on those, too. My shoes are kept in the house again. I do NOT know how long the effects of the NonScents will last. I am about two months in on the older set. However, what I DO know is that I will buy another pair as soon as the ones I have need replacement. In the meantime, if the developers need me for product demonstration purposes--think about a convention hall full of people saying, "well, if they could help THAT guy..."--they know where to find me.
