I don't normally write reviews but after experiencing a major power surge that blew out our electrical panel, I felt the performance of this product should be reported. First and foremost, this product rocks! With as severe of a surge as we experienced I had nightmares of blown-out electronics throughout our home. The reality is that nothing connected with Tripp Lite surge protectors suffered any damage whatsoever! That is incredible!!! I cannot say the same for the condition of the Tripp Lite surge protectors. The surge protector did its job and gave its life protecting my equipment. Even better still, when I contacted Tripp Lite to report the damaged surge protector, their customer service was stellar; they took down all relevant information and then immediately shipped me replacement surge protectors. Can't beat that; a company that actually stands by their product and honors their warranty. I am completely sold now on these Tripp Lite surge protectors. I have now ordered additional of their surge protectors to cover items that I didn't previously protect and also to have spares. This item is a bargain at any price. Consider it like a purchase of insurance; since the manufacturer stands by their product this is a must have investment.
