The case looks and, for the most part, feels exactly like the Apple bumpers, which is exactly what I wanted. Visually it looks nearly perfect and even on close inspection you wouldn't know that it wasn't an official bumper. To nitpick the, the hard plastic "shell" has a very, very minor ridge which you cannot see but can only slightly feel, as if the edge needed just a bit of sanding. As others have mentioned the bottom of the case has a thin covering that prevents the lighting plug from going 100% into the socket. I'd say the plug goes 95% into the socket, which is far enough to make the connection, charge and sync. I didn't even notice it until I read others here post, so obviously it wasn't a major issue for me. EDIT: after one day, I did wind up using my dremel to shave a tiny bit off of the bottom to allow the lightning plug to fit in all the way. Also after a day in my pocket the minor "ridge" i mentioned has worn smooth. I'm totally happy with it now.
