Let me start by saying that I am neither wealthy nor stupid. What I am is someone who reads every night. I am also someone who hit the button on the Oasis at about 8 am on the day it went on sale. And I am sick to death of reviewers suggesting I must be out of my mind. I had given one of my son's a Paperwhite, and now I have given the other my Voyage. I have come on line to say the Oasis is mine! It is four easy ounces fall into my palm; it has page turn buttons that finally land where my hand wants to be. And the screen is just that little bit clearer. I read at night and in the dark. The Oasis is comfortable for me just a bit dimmer than the Voyage was, and it makes a difference -- I was that kid who had the flashlight under the covers. The Oasis is just a little bit more of everything that has made me a Kindle-aholic since the first Kindle. For me, it is better than comfort food. I have had the Oasis for since its release on April 27, and for anyone who loves to read on an eReader, It is definitely worth considering. I brought it into work as a show and tell, and one of my colleagues immediately went on line and ordered one. I was really surprised when I first opened the box. The box, the Oasis, the case are all tiny. So I had my littlest one hold up Amazon's littlest one and posted the pictures. I am so happy Amazon continues to understand that some of us do not have any interest in reading on a tablet or our phones. I am happy to have a more comfortable Kindle. After all, it is only $20 more than a Voyage with a leather case.
