It's a plug-in, not an app. It works fine.
For those that are saying "it doesn't open", yeah, you're right, it's not supposed to open. It's not an app. It's a printer plug-in. You just download it. Once you've done that, it's now an available printer.
Go to a document or web page on your Kindle, and print it. Assuming you've set up your Canon printer WiFi settings up, your printer should show up in the printer settings box in the print dialogue that your Kindle will show next.
This app worked fine for me. I have a Kindle Fire HD 8 (5th gen.), and printed to a Canon Maxify MB2720 just fine.
