Dedicated Hanes ComfortSoft Customer Converted for Life
I've been purchasing Hanes ComfortSoft panties for over ten years. At first, I wore bikinis but in the last year I have switched to Hipsters.
I sustained an injury that has left me bedridden, in a wheelchair forever, and with bladder function impact.
At first, Hanes were simply my period panties because they are so inexpensive, ruining a pair wasn't the end of the world. The ComfortSoft band was the first of its kind over ten years ago, with no more cutting into the skin on the waist.
I stopped wearing my regular panties (stretch lace thongs) when I had my spinal injury three years ago. I loved them, they were comfortable and kept me cool and feeling sexy. Losing bladder function was NOT in my goals!
Since I buy two new packs of panties every three months or so, I often still research similar products on Amazon to ensure I'm getting the best deal. I'm no longer fortunate enough to be able to shop in person, so I rely heavily on product reviews and Amazon Prime for free shipping and returns.
I noticed this product called the X-Temp and it looked similar to what I buy. I must clarify - I HATE microfiber and I did not want Under Armor style fabrics for panties! I used to have to wear Under Armor under my body armor and having that kind of fabric where I prefer cotton was not something I was wanting to try. I really don't like to try new things but I read the reviews and figured I would order a pack along with my regular order.
So here's the details:
-The fabric feels just like the regular 100% cotton
-The cut and pattern is different. The waist "band" is wide like yoga pants and cuts even less than the ComfortSoft Band
- I have experienced ZERO humidity, no sweat, and bodily fluids don't just hang out anymore. They seem to be pulled through the fabric.
- The entire undercarriage feels COOL. Not cold, but cool. Not like there is airflow, but instead like I just put on a clean and fresh pair of panties.
I experience the following: bladder leakage, bladder retention, often sweaty when using my wheelchair or when sleeping. I am in a t-shirt and panties 90% of the time, and I can only wear PJ pants when I need pants. I understand most women don't care this much, but for me, it's a quality of life issue. My leaking bladder is no longer a problem. The old style panties would hold urine against my skin and cause a rash or irritation. The X-Temp pulls it away immediately. I can sit in my wheelchair without the waistband cutting in to my abdomen or inner thighs, and I do not get the 12-hour wedgie after wearing them all day.
I write reviews but this is one of a few times I've been so overly impressed with a product, I wanted to write a review right away. I gave it a few extra days just to search for problems, but I found none.
I will no longer be purchasing the Hanes ComfortSoft cotton Hipster panties. The X-Temp fabric, cut, seams, and sizing, is superior in every single way. The pricing is also highly competitive.
I wish I'd had these when I was still in public service, and I would HIGHLY recommend these for women in police, fire, military, nursing or medical field, EMT or paramedic, dancers, ballet, Zumba, running, or crossfit. Likewise, if you are in a wheelchair, experience overactive bladder, sit for long periods of time (even truckers or office workers,) have a tendency to sweat frequently or get hot easily, these are for you!!
I realize I am a stranger to you, but I hope this review has given you enough information to make the decision to at least pick up a pack. It's rare for me to switch products, as I am very brand and product loyal, but I can't foresee ever going back to my old panties.
