More suitable for kids 3 and older
It really is a great, quality product. No complaints whatsoever. However, I felt compelled to leave an honest review about my experience with it and why I chose not to keep it. I have a very active 1 and a half year old. Since she's such a busy, curious body, i thought this would be an ideal gift for her-it's not. She's not very interested in it aside from occasionally stepping on it and then hopping off or flipping it over and then immediately moving on to something else that's more interesting for her, like her laundry basket. I modeled the different ways it can be used, but I think the board may be too big for her, hence a little intimidating and perhaps just too much. It's definitely more suitable for kids 3 and older who are taller and have better developed motor skills. I believe the product description even says so, but i decided to buy it anyways because a few other parents wrote reviews saying their young toddlers enjoyed it very much, mine doesn't. As a single mom, i think it's expensive and I really couldn't afford to keep a board my child isn't developmentally ready to use.
