I loved my Farberware knife for years before I got this. The Farberware eventually became difficult to sharpen so I thought I'd give this a whirl. It arrived in a very nice box which I will keep it stored in when not in use. It has a magnetic latch. When I opened the box I literally gasped at the sight of the beautifully crafted wooden handle. Next, I tested the knife on a grape. I've NEVER seen a knife glide through anything the way it glided through the grape under its own weight. It is razor-sharp!!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL!!! I love this knife and there isn't anything I don't like about it. I highly recommend it. I use it for veggies and meats. It is a joy to use! It would make an excellent Christmas gift!!!
