I saw this on September 15, 2016 - - at the sneak preview night in San Diego. This is a movie you are going to want to own !! It is TRULY THAT GOOD ! Ron Howard did an EXCELLENT job assembling many RARE FOOTAGE clips, along with a few most have seen, and edited it together to give a GREAT historical timepiece here....not only what the Beatles were doing from 1963-1966, but what was happening in the world during these same years: ie, Vietnam, Civil Rights, JFK assassination, etc....and how the Beatles were caught up in the same historical events. I found it very interesting that the Beatles would NOT PLAY TO THE SOUTH in the US, unless the promoters agreed to let Blacks and Whites attend the concerts together, and to be able to sit next to one another. Superb job on this film....A MUST BUY for all hardcore Beatles fans ! At the end of the film, along with a special segment showing the entire Shea Stadium concert - - all of us gray hairs stood up and applauded ! Even a few of the younger folks in the audience joined in !! So much fun.....BUY THIS ! :)
