I'm not disappointed either. I was looking for a vacuum sealer ...
I finally broke down and purchased another Foodsaver after owning the original Tilia Foodsaver for nearly 20 years. And yes, after searching through hundreds of reviews and other research, I decided on the FoodSaver FM2435-ECR. I'm not disappointed either. I was looking for a vacuum sealer that wasn't bulky, but one that had a powerful motor to pull adequate suction from the bags and this machine was exactly what I needed. The added bonus is that you can place a roll of bags inside the machine and cut to the desired length in record time. I'm a avid hunter and fisherman and I intend to get every penny out of this machine....just like the last one. I've only used this new machine a total of 6-7 times thus far, put it has worked flawlessly. Naturally, the company doesn't make a ton of money on the machine itself....they rely on the expensive bags to reap their profits, so a little tip for the one reading through this review. You can find cheaper bags that may be more affordable, just make sure that they do indeed operate with a Foodsaver machine. And, with any bag, make sure that you do cut your bags plenty long enough, so that you will be able to get multiple uses from the same bag. Essentially, if you cut your bag just big enough for what you are sealing, you will more likely find that it will be too small to reuse again. If my review was of any help, please like. Thank you.
