It is a litter scoop. Its plastic. So it does flex a bit in heavy litter. I use Tidy Cats light weight so these work fantastic. They come in 3 different sizes. I could not find anything stating the sizes so I ordered all 3. For the price you cannot go wrong with these. In my photo they are as listed left to right Large - 10" x 4.25" Jumbo - 11.25" x 4.75" Giant - 13" x 5.75"
