I really like this straightener. I purchased it back in November of 2015 and it still works great. I am bi-racial and my hair is naturally curly and frizzy. It straightens my hair the first run/swipe through. And my hair usually stays straight for a couple days, with maybe a few touch-ups here and there. It heats up quickly and gets really hot; it did come with a pair of gloves, but I never use them because the outside handle doesn't get too hot to handle. I would definitely recommend this straightener. It's a great value for your money.
