Seriously. This stuff is worth its weight in some sort of semi-precious metal. We used to use this at our dance studio during competition time. Due to the astounding fixative properties of this barrier spray, I ended up with an eyeliner mustache for much longer than I intended during our Charlie Chaplin number. This stuff kept my stage makeup on for solid HOURS of intense choreography for everything from ballet to tap dance. I had completely forgotten about it until recently, when I was going through my stage makeup case and tossing all of the expired products, bemoaning the fact that all of the expensive makeup "setting sprays" did absolutely nothing in this weirdly hot Oregon summer, and happened upon a VERY OLD bottle of the Mehron barrier spray. Remembering that it was astoundingly good at its job during my competition days, I searched Amazon to see if it was still available. I received the bottle today and sprayed the hell out of my face after doing my makeup and venturing outside into entirely too much humidity. My makeup didn't even want to come off when I attacked it with my usual microfiber cloth 10 HOURS LATER. It's basically NeverWet for your face. I spilled coffee all over myself, no slippage. Water? No slippage. SWEAT? Nada. Urban Decay ain't got nothing on this stuff. I have no idea what's in it (unicorn tears? distilled orphan blood? the sweat of a thousand virgins? I probably don't want to know), but it's the shiz. And at less than half the price of other sprays, I'm entirely happy to purchase this stuff until I die.
