I bought the kindle version of this book long time ago and as a hobbyist photographer, I often have my downtime in photography. During these downtimes, I try reading this book again, reviewing key points that I would like to improve on, and sure enough I get inspired again snapping pictures. The techniques discussed in this book may sound very basic for most photographers, but mastering these techniques combined with your natural artistry is what makes a good photographer. Every time a family or friend would like to learn to photography, I always recommend that they start with this book.
