First off, the chocolate does taste more dark than milky. So it’s not exactly what a regular Reese’s would taste like, but not in a bad way. As far as a protein product goes, the macros aren’t that great, with only around 1g protein/20 calories whereas in a good protein bar you’d expect at least 1g protein/10 calories. THAT BEING SAID, these aren’t protein bars! They were made to be a much better alternative to the actual Reese’s peanut butter cups, and I have to say, they did really nail it. These aren’t meant to be something you eat to fill up your protein quota. These are for when you want a treat but don’t want the junk that comes along with. And for less than half the calories of a regular Reese’s, you get some protein as an added bonus. They are very expensive, so I’m not sure I’ll be buying these a ton. Quest, if you’re reading this: you’ll make a lot more sales if you priced these a little more reasonably (I know I would buy them regularly). I can almost guarantee you’ll make more money overall.
