Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've normally thought blue inks to be boring, and for several years used only blue/black inks, many of them Iron-Gall based. Did not like how IG inks would dry up quickly in the pens, and required extensive flushing on a regular basis. I saw a pen review online and the reviewer mentioned this ink as being in the pen at the time. I liked the deeply-saturated look of the ink, and how it popped off the pages. I ordered a bottle and inked up my driest pen; a MB 146 with EF nib. Boy was I impressed. Not only the color, but the performance. All of a sudden my once-dry, hard starting pen became a juicy pleasure to hold in my hand. Yes, pun fully intended. Not much I can say, since I am inept at describing colors, but picture the sapphire-blue Croatian waters of the Adriatic, and that's the color. Not water resistant or archival in any form, but is not advertised as such. The blue color is truly spectacular. Give it a shot. Oh, and the Iroshizuku bottles are beautiful.
