My husband and I have been trying for 2 years to conceive our second child. We had 3 failed IVFs and several failed IUIs. I've also tried so many natural remedies like the Vitex, bee pollen, Royal jelly, and more. This is a wonderful product and I really wish I had known earlier about this. So after 2 years of no luck I accidentally came across Preseed and read all the nice reviews about it. Only after trying this for one cycle, I got my BFP (3 days ago --on day26 of my cycle-- and the line keeps getting a little darker every day). I'm so super excited and I really wish all ladies in the same boat would know about this. Basically the PreSeed has a very sperm friendly/ alkaline pH and this is the key why it works. Normally vaginal acidity kills sperm but in the short window of ovulation (48 hrs) the pH becomes alkaline due to the natural vaginal discharge that we produce around ovulation. But due to several factors including stress or simply that alkaline discharge getting wiped off vaginal pH is not at its optimal level. What preseed does is that it introduces a large amount of "discharge like" material in the vagina which restores the pH balance at the right time. Unfortunately there are no double blinded study that has been done that would prove this (I'm strongly considering to start one). There is only one paper published in the PubMed that they looked at PreSeed vs. KY Jelly vs other lubs and found out that sperms are moving freely only in the PreSeed group. I think what needs to be done is to collect data on how many couples get pregnant while using PreSeed vs. none. We really need to get the word out there and let all couples who are having problems conceiving to know about this. Congratulations to all who succeeded and best of luck to those ladies trying.
