It's quite, puts out a lot of vapor, i can get my room to 55% relative humidity. I bought this to help relieve some sinus conjestion / allergies I've been having. It does seem to open me up when I'm awake, I still get conjested when I sleep though with the humidifier on. I've tried the aroma tray, I can't really smell any difference so not sure if it's actually working, I have a regular difuser anyway. If you live in a cold environment this will cut down your heating cost by keeping the humidity high inside, it will feel very warm and you won't need to run your heater as much.
