We love popcorn in this house, and generally pop a giant bowlful at a time from an air popper for a movie night (7 family members). This silicone popper makes it MUCH more practical to pop just a serving or two without buying the nasty yellow waxy bagged microwave popcorn. The quality of popcorn is just as great as we've always been accustomed to, and the amount of unpopped (waste) corn is similar to bagged microwave popcorn - in other words, minimal. The smooth shape of this popper is superior to others if you just spray it out with the sink hose after use like I do. Dishwasher space is at a premium in this house, and this thing just plain doesn't get dirty. At most, there's a small amount of husk material clinging to it afterward. My personal favorite preparation is to drizzle a mixture of canola oil with just a little bit of sesame oil over the popped corn, toss with a large spoon, then salt with extra fine popcorn salt. Tastes really good, and still healthy. Another seasoning I like is to drizzle with oil, then toss with a mixture of extra fine popcorn salt and curry powder. Be careful, the turmeric in the curry stains if you wipe your fingers on your clothes. This pops awesomely in a quality microwave, but I encountered issues with a very cheap, low powered one. Through experimentation, I came up with a method that works in that microwave. I've attached a video concerning that.
