As a daily “home chef”, I am overall pleased with this set of grinding mills. It does exactly what it says it does. For the price, you really cannot beat this grinder set. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the top is plastic and feels a little cheap, therefore I am not sure how well they will hold out. That being said, after a month of daily use, the glass bottom is nice and thick the grinding mechanism has produced a really nice quality grind for my peppercorns and pink Himalayan salt. If it is just for home use, I say buy it. It is for gifting, but not a serious occasion, buy it. If it is for a wedding gift, I would find a set that has a true stainless steel top and ceramic grinding mechanism.
