From the moment I opened the outer package, I knew these were going to be good. I could already smell the scent as I have used another product to keep chipmunks and my poodles out of our rock wall and it was a similar odor. I highly recommend wearing gloves when opening the canisters to remove the protective liner. This is a strong odor that is extremely effective at deterring rodents and even larger animals from venturing near. To me, I smell a blend of mint, garlic and other things that critters do not like. It is not completely unpleasant to humans but our noses are not nearly as sensitive. I have placed these in various parts of my garage and so far I have not seen any new mouse activity. It also has freshened my entire garage as a bonus. I also like that you can stick these underneath a car hood as well or anything where you do not want mice; they are very cute but highly destructive. I will definitely be ordering more in the future after these have been used up. Perhaps I will update this review once I see how long they last.
