I bought this for a 7-day trip to Iceland. This was my checked bag with a week's worth of clothing and toiletries. I was able to pack more despite this backpack being smaller than my friends' bags. It held up really well for traveling, but I didn't take it on any hikes. Now I use it as my daily commuter bag into the city where it sees minimal use. Recently the chest strap buckle fell off, and I asked for a replacement part. The company sent me a promo code to re-order the backpack for free because of the lifetime warranty. That is fantastic. Simple and easy, no fuss. While I don't use the bag heavily, it holds up for my traveling needs and I'm grateful for the lifetime warranty. If you're looking to take this on a flight as checked luggage, it will hold up. So for me, I'd buy this backpack again.
