I bought this for a yard sale because I have tons of clothes to sell. This is what I was able to hang on it: 38 shirts on the bottom rung. 23 items on top, which include: 2 coats 5 heavy sweaters 6 heavy sweatshirts 9 dresses 1 pair of jean shorts 4 purses/bags hanging on ends 1 light plastic under the bed shoe storage bag Total of 66 items!!! This thing holds a lot of weight! I am so surprised by this. However, when you unpack it, you are in for a surprise because none of the pieces are labeled (A, B, C, etc.) to match the letters on the corresponding directions. Only C was labeled. If you just do a process of elimination, you'll be fine. It's obvious that C is C, lol. And the wheels, screws, bottom 2 rungs, etc. are easily identifiable. Just lay everything out in front of you (have a large enough area for this) and take your time. Also, make sure to push everything together VERY VERY tightly. You have to put all of your weight down on it so that the screws can be installed.
