I travel internationally 1-3 times a year and packing cubes are essential when you're changing cities / hotels every 2-3 days. I own >20 of these from 4 different companies and these look the BEST in terms of zipper and fabric quality / thickness (better than Eagle Creek which had some type of lining that gunks up when you wash it). I purchased these compression cubes to store a down jacket, puffer vest, winter gloves/ scarves until my next cold weather trip. The cream and black cubes along with the matching mesh cubes are stunning, but here are the caveats: 1) these cubes hold way more than you probably want to take in a plane carry-on given weight restrictions, so you need to pack them so lightly, the compression system doesn't make too much difference. They're still worth it for organization alone, but probably better used for checked bags or for home storage. They will make a 'good' space saver---but honestly, nothing beats a Zip-Loc space bag.
