we have had these for 2 years of daily use in our home kitchen. they are wonderful. they fit my son's xl size hands, while I, a woman with a smaller size hand dont find them clumsy to use. they are just as effective as the day I bought them. perfect for bakers and for use with cast iron pans and those hot, hot handles I wipe them clean with a damp towel when they get sauce on them. getting another pair for the camper.
