It Works!
I have a rescue pug,,she was in a cage for several years while she produced many litters. The breeders then dumped her by the side of the road once they realized that she was filled with worms,,,heart worms included. The pound picked her up, weighing less than 14 pounds,,and for a pug, that is almost unheard of!. Luckily Compassionate Pug Rescue took her from the pound.
Our pug, after all these experiences, came to us with some weird anxiety issues. Right after a meal she would lick her face incessantly. Perhaps this started as a way of getting every crumb of food off of her face,,,they obviously didn't feed her enough. But the face licking then became an anxiety issue. I first tried the aroma infuser. It didn't seem to have any effect on her.
I just got this coat in yesterday. Did I mention that our pug is very food focused? Yesterday my husband was cleaning the barbecue grill on the patio. Our pug paced back and forth, whining, wanting to get out to the grill and "get some grease". Finally I decided to try the coat,,,instantly she calmed down and fell asleep by the fire. Then this morning, after her breakfast, the face licking started. I wrapped her in the coat and pet her while the licking slowly decreased. She is now sleeping peacefully in my chair.
I needed to look at the instructions for wrapping this coat on her, but once I figured it out,it was easy. It is light and washable. I am very pleased with the effect is has on our pug, Pixel.
