This robot vacuum is awesome. Aside from the standard bump thing when it comes it contact with a wall or object it has a laser eye on top of it that digitally maps it's course and then syncs it with the app. From the app you can make adjustments to the course and define no go zones without using magnet tape. The app is very intuitive as it tells you everything from the robot from it's manual to when it's time to clean the filter to battery levels the from there you can also manually drive the robot. The other thing I like is that it's always learning and mapping the best routes and it detects humans or pets so it will not crash into them. Which is great cause my dog likes to follow it around. It's also smart enough if while it's cleaning she drops a toy in it's known clear path it will avoid it. The robot also mops but my place is primary carpet so I don't use that function, but I did try it and it works well. It also works with Alexa, so I can have it start from my echo devices but it can also be set on a schedule for Auto daily cleaning and designated times. I still use my standard vacuum but I only plan to use it before I shampoo the carpet so about every few weeks. This little guy makes it super simple for places with pets to keep it dirt and dust free. The only thing I wish this did was physically take the dirt to the trash can, but that's not possible lol. Lastly for techies like me I have ac bricks in allot of my outlets so it's awesome that they designed the plug with a normal plug so it does not take extra outlet space as it's built into the base which also doubles as a cord organizer which I like so my nosey dog does and cannot eat it.
