We have MagnaTiles already and love them but always run out of pieces before our creations are complete so I opted for these Picasso Tiles after examining a friend's. I like them! They're definitely comparable. The only obvious difference being that these Picasso Tiles have a stronger magnetic hold. I actually prefer this for my 2.5yo because he gets frustrated with the MagnaTiles when his towers collapse. Today he got frustrated at the Picasso Tiles though, because we built a wheel with each brand and discovered a subtle difference which may be a deal breaker for me. Each brand requires 12 triangles to complete the wheel but the Picasso Tile pieces don't make a complete wheel. In the picture the Picasso Tiles are on the left and Magna Tiles on the right.
