Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read a great blog post endorsing this product, and the great reviews on Amazon prompted me to buy it. My heritage is Scandinavian and Scots-Irish. I am very fair, light hair and blue eyes and WHITE skin. I have used other fake tanners (lotions, foams, sprays) and am pretty skilled at self-tanning, but all of them eventually fade to orange and I walk around smelling faintly of corn chips. (does anyone else think fake tan smells like chips?!) This stuff is tinted green/brown, so you can see where you are applying. It does not rub in evenly, BUT DON'T BE SCARED. I was fairly panicked because I looked like I rolled in a mud pit. The stuff dried in about an hour, and I went to bed. It did come off on my sheets, but the sheets came clean. After my shower, the tint rinsed off and I was left with a subtle brown glow all over my body. NO STREAKS. I had darker accumulation on my elbows and ankles, but really not that noticeable. I was so relieved. I am so excited to find a product that (so far) leaves my skin golden rather than orange. I am on day three and it still looks great! It smells nice when applying, and the next day it did smell a little bit corn-chippy, but not overwhelming. Tip: Use plastic gloves to apply, or wash hands with baking soda after. Baking soda takes everything off! Tip: mix a squirt of tanner with regular face moisturizer to apply to face for a smoother application.
