They are my husband's favorite slipper, ever. He is diabetic, and needs a sturdier sole than some slippers have - one that will not slip - and the slippers are easy to put on. He wears them without socks unless he is having swollen ankles, then he uses compression socks. The nice thing about them is this: Even with the swollen ankles, they can be easily pulled on; but also, they do not just flop off as he walks. They stay on more like a shoe. The toe box, for him, is large enough to not rub on his toes and irritate them. For me, they look nicer on him than most slippers....vanity, oh vanity!
