and here is my comparison of Tobfit vs unamed Brand X (not naming them, but are available on Amazon), as I originally assumed these all came from the same shop with different branding. They are actually different. Thus far - These Tobfit versions use AAA Batteries, as stated, vs brand X that uses AA Batteries. Tobfit LED's are amber/Orange vs Brand X that uses LEDs closer to Red. Tobfit perimeter LED's appear to angle down slightly reducing visibility, vs Brand X that are more parallel with the body, when laying flat (hook/magnet side down). LED modes are almost identical, except, Tobfit final LED mode is 2 pair of perimeter LED's lit vs brand X which actually uses the top mounted White LED's for final mode. Tobfit top LED's appear to be mounted, but non-functional. I will find a purpose/use for these Tobfit models (let the kids play with them I guess), but I will be ordering more brand X models for the full functionality of all LED's, brighter (probably due to larger battery size) and better visibility angle. Lost a star for non-functioning top White LEDs. Lost another for reduced visibility. These are my opinions and results, your mileage may vary. Update: Thank You Tobfit for reaching out. Apparently my set was missing some instructions. They provided the method to engage the White LED's on (double press the mode button), and so I am upgrading you one star for fully functioning units and customer service.
